About these terms
These terms apply whenever you book a journey with ARIYAH ELITE ("we", "us", "our") through our website, mobile app or by phone. By making a booking, you agree to these terms.
Our service
We provide private hire vehicle bookings, including pre-booked and on-demand transfers, and hourly chauffeur hire where available. Bookings can be made through our app, our website, or by contacting us directly.
Bookings and fares
A booking is formed when we confirm it to you, whether by app, email, SMS or over the phone. The fare quoted to you at the time of booking is the fare you will be charged, plus only any extras that were disclosed to you at booking or that arise under these terms, such as waiting-time charges.
Waiting time
Every booking includes a free waiting allowance, shown to you at the time of booking — for example, a longer allowance after your flight has landed at an airport. If your driver waits beyond that allowance, waiting time may be charged at the per-minute rate disclosed to you, and added to your final fare.
Payment
We accept card payment through Stripe, our payment provider. Where pre-authorisation is enabled, we place a hold on your card at the time of booking and take payment once your journey is complete. We accept cash only where we tell you that we do so.
Cancellations and no-shows
You may cancel a booking in accordance with the cancellation policy shown to you at the time of booking, or by contacting us. We may charge a cancellation fee for a late cancellation, and a no-show fee if you are not present for a scheduled pickup, as set out in that policy.
Passenger conduct
We expect all passengers to treat drivers and vehicles with respect. We may refuse to carry you, or end a journey, if you behave in a way that is abusive, dangerous, or that damages the vehicle. Luggage and the number of passengers carried must not exceed the limits stated for the vehicle you book.
Flight delays
Where your booking is linked to a flight, we use available flight-tracking data to adjust your pickup to your flight's actual landing time, rather than its originally scheduled time.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, our liability to you in connection with a booking is limited to the value of that booking, and we are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as traffic, weather or airport delays.
Driver app
The driver app is provided for use by drivers engaged by ARIYAH ELITE. While a shift is active, the app records your location for dispatch, safety and passenger-tracking purposes. Where a driver has a separate written agreement with ARIYAH ELITE, that agreement takes priority over these terms in the event of any conflict.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your booking will apply to that booking, and we will post updates on this page.
Severability
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of these terms will remain in full force and effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the part of the United Kingdom in which ARIYAH ELITE is established, and the courts of that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
